Why it works
The oil cleansing method works because when you cleanse your skin with oil, you are able to effectively remove makeup, dirt and grime from your face without stripping it of it’s natural oils. The reason this is so effective is because when you strip your skin of it’s natural sebum, you are interrupting your skin’s natural balance. As a result, your body goes into overdrive to try and produce more, which can lead to breakouts, dullness, clogged pores, and more. This is a safe, gentle, natural way to effectively cleanse your skin without exposing it to harsh detergents, synthetic dyes or fragrances, which may be unnecessary and ultimately do more harm than good.
